Never before have I read a book so slowly, re-read sentences so often as I do with this.
Compassion. I use it in my work a lot because of my attraction to strengths based development.
I am fascinated about the evolutionary science behind it!!!
Our sophisticated cognitive abilities means that we have powerful imaginations and can easily generate and maintain our "stressors".
So it is heartening to also find hope in that we can learn to take perspective on our imagination and reflections, just put a little bit of distance and hold it lightly.
